For over six decades, we at Faith Connection Federal Credit Union have built a tradition of providing trusted financial resources to empower our faith-based communities.
History
The first chapter of our unified story began in 2005 when Georgia Methodist Federal Credit Union and Florida United Methodist Credit Union joined forces. Recognizing their shared mission and complementary service areas, the merger created a stronger financial institution for their combined membership base.
Building on this success, in 2011, Georgia Florida United Methodist Federal Credit Union merged with the Alabama-West Florida Methodist Credit Union. This unification brought together four United Methodist Conferences, solidifying our commitment to serving ministers, employees, and members across North Georgia, South Georgia, Florida, and Alabama-West Florida. As the work of the church expanded into new expressions, in 2023 our eligibility extended to the Global Methodist Church in the same geographic area.
Today, we stand as Faith Connection Federal Credit Union, a name reflecting the enduring bond between our credit union and the values of our faith-filled members. This combined strength allows us to offer an expanded range of services and convenient locations, ensuring we continue to empower your financial journey.
