Founded in 1979 by the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA), HealthCare Associates Credit Union® (HACU) began its journey as Illinois Hospitals Employees Credit Union. Initially focused on serving IHA employees, the credit union expanded its name and membership to include the entire healthcare community. With a mission to support those who work in, serve, or uphold the healthcare sector, HACU has grown into a robust financial service provider. Today, boasting a membership exceeding 33,000 across the nation, HACU offers a comprehensive range of financial products tailored to meet a range of needs.
