History
In 2010, Detroit Edison Credit Union (which also included Huron River Area Credit Union) and NuUnion Credit Union (which also included Ottawa County School Employees Credit Union) merged to form Lake Trust Credit Union. In 2020, the credit union underwent a brand evolution and is dedicated to celebrating “The power in all of us” each day.
Lake Trust has branches across Michigan, including a location in Downtown Detroit on Woodward Ave.
Lake Trust Credit Union Headquarters in Brighton, Michigan was constructed in 2015. The building is LEED-certified.
Team members at Lake Trust are committed to giving back in local communities. Each year, the credit union hosts Powered By Good Day, a company-wide day of volunteering.
