NSPIRE Federal Credit Union

History

In 1957, our first location in Sinton, TX was chartered to serve San Patricio County school district employees and their families. In 2002, the Credit Union was approved to provide service to all who live, work, worship, or volunteer in San Patricio County, to better serve our expanded and growing membership. As we expanded our service, our previous name no longer accurately represented the full range of people we serve and sometimes led to confusion about eligibility. As of 2025, our new name removes the misconception that we only serve our school districts and reflects our extended membership base. Our new name gives credit to our founding members, teachers and educators who have inspired success and empowerment with education for generations. Like them, we want to inspire growth and confidence in your financial decisions through education and guidance.
